This devotional has been reedited into modern English for contemporary readers by a Third Order Secular Franciscan. These Visits are arranged after the method of Saint Alphonsus Liguori, but they are completely different in character and tone. It is the hope of the editor that this beautiful book be made available to readers, so having been transformed by Love, they can go out and transform the world. Sitting in silence is very hard to do.
