Beginning in 2013, a group of people in Wollongong, Australia, got together to talk about love. The result was Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics, a series of events which bring together like-minded people to celebrate love and to explore what love means to us today via art, ideas, music and politics. The contributors to this book were part of the Love: Art, Ideas, Music, Politics experience. Most were involved in the love festivals, some were members of the organising collective, some had attended the love reading groups, some had facilitated workshops, and others had only just heard of the love group and/or the festivals via the call for contributions to the book. The result is an eclectic collection of musings on love that will inspire and challenge you to reflect on what love is. It includes essays, creative nonfiction, poetry, artworks, songs, photographs and drawings. This book invites readers on a journey to find out what love means to us today.
