Steven Corso di Texas (pseudonym) is a well-known gay writer and poet, of Italian-American origin, who keeps his true sexual identity hidden from the eyes of society. A resident of the city of Arlington (Texas), the prejudices of the people of that state towards homosexuals and lesbians have meant that he cannot shout to the world what his heart and body feel. If he did so, he would risk being fired from his job at an important construction company in his city, since society and the laws of Arlington, and of Texas in general, still do not admit the homosexual condition of many people, men and women, even considering it as a disease. For this reason, and for no other, he has published different stories and poems with this and other pseudonyms on various platforms. In these more than 500 verses that follow, Steven remembers his true love, another man now far away, whom he sometimes identifies as Orchid. He longs for it and wants it. Even in these lines he narrates the temptations that have been offered to other men but that he has rejected. These poems will make you fall even more in love with the one you want and who may not have become yours yet.
