There has to be more to life than this, Judy thought to herself while she cleaned. Little did Judy know that her life would soon change in the blink of an eye. Judy is a woman, single, living with her folks in a small town in North Carolina. One day, she meets a man new in town and begins having a friendship, then a relationship. However, World War II arrives in their town and threatens to tear them apart. Will their love prevail? Will Judy keep her faith in Christ, even if she can't understand why this is happening to her?
