"Lotus of the Outis" is the second canto to Kit Ludlow's art-poetry epic, Orpheus. The poem follows the prologue: "City of Time" and finds Orpheus swept upon the banks of the river Styx. Years have passed since Orpheus journeyed into Hades to retrieve his wife. That adventure failed due to his cursed look back. Each line of the poem is illustrated by the poet's own artwork. All artwork has been previously unpublished.
