Lottie Barrett Lives (Again) is a winter ghost-tale, what transpires when a cute little zombie chick arrives in 1960's small town America in time for the holidays. Struck down a century before by a witch's curse disguised as a fever, thirteen-year-old Lucretia died with the promise she'd come back someday and when someday comes and Lottie is presented with the opportunity to be a teenager, something she was denied the first time, albeit in a world much changed from what she once knew, she plunges in. It's an Archie and Veronica world. Everybody's parents bowl, all the kids collect comic books, there's a hangout place with burgers and shakes, pinball and bumper pool, and on Saturday afternoons in the fall, everybody turns out to cheer for the high school football team. For Lottie, going steady with the cutest boy in the freshman class, it's bliss but she has to contend with Charlene Pendergrass, the annoying alpha-girl wannabe-witch who brought Lottie back and thinks she owns her. Charlene is a big-mouth and a showoff and soon enough and mostly thanks to Charlene, Lottie's boyfriend's mom and prom-queen big sister are starting to see hints of the unthinkable, their son-brother dating a dead girl. They get sniffing around and when they enlist the aid of a hippy warlock and a couple of ancient matrons with a knowledge of the darker side of the town's history, mayhem ensues.
