P.I. Nick Sperry looks into Sidney Ryder's disappearance. Eight years ago, Melissa, Nick's girlfriend, brought the youngster to Sunshine Children's Home in Washington, D.C. When the federal orphanage asserts that it has no record of Melissa's son, Nick is not duped. Nick is a former CIA operative who is aware of the US government's morally reprehensible powers. His suspicions lead him to find that Sidney isn't the only lost orphan. Furthermore, the children were taken from their foster families at a very young age by an unnamed individual who claimed to be their uncle.

Jack's investigation into children leukaemia under Tabula Rasa's leadership has the potential to save countless lives.
