This thoroughly delightful picture book, the first by well-known YA author M.M.Ragz, teaches children that what is lost can be recovered through perseverance and imagination. Vivid images of "heavenly pursuits," such as polishing sunbeams and dusting cloud-webs, along with the fanciful illustrations by Jane Manning, make the world of angels come alive for young readers. And of course, the story of innocence and laughter saving the day and the implication that little "Just Nicholas" will one day become the great St. Nick make this an especially appealing tale for the holiday season.
