LOST KITTEN

Snowy is abandoned by his family in a snowstorm. It is so dark he is frightened until he sees a light. It is the Johnston's house. Snowy stumbles through the snow until he reaches the door. He is tired, hungry, cold and very young. He scratches and meows at the door until Mrs. Johnston lets him in. Mrs. Johnston is nervous because her husband hates cats and orders her to get rid of Snowy. Mrs. Johnston likes Snowy and keeps Snowy out of her husband's way. All the neighborhood animals tell Snowy he doesn't have a chance, that Mr. Johnston will send him to the animal shelter. Snowy is terrified and determined to make Mr. Johnston like him. Just when he has lost hope, something unusual happens...
