They were in complete shock and tried to step back to the Adirondacks. Nothing happened; they found themselves stuck there, wherever they were. They were on a small hill looking out to what seemed to be a fog and you could barely see anything.After a moment, a breeze came up and cleared the fog and you could see that there was a very long line of people waiting to go through a gate into God knew where. People who seemed to have had a drink or two too many where dancing to the music of what sounded like an out of tune fiddle and a banjo player. Jack turned to Alex and said "listen you keep trying to get back to the present and I will go down there and see where the hell we are. To tell you the truth it looks very dangerous". Alex looked at Jack with fear in her eyes said, "I don't know what's going on but I'm not leaving you here alone".People who always wish for life as it once was will never be able to accept life as it will be in the future.
