Lost Feathers: The Picis - Book I
Some wishes are granted. Others are waiting to collect their price.
When Billy Katz makes an innocent wish, he unknowingly opens the door to a hidden world governed by ancient rules, dangerous bargains, and creatures that were never meant to enter the human realm.
At the center of it all is Beto-a black cat carrying more lives, secrets, and sorrow than any ordinary animal should. Beside him stands Marcel, a magnetic and unsettling figure whose humor conceals a cruel intelligence and whose interest in Billy may be far more dangerous than it appears.
As colored feathers begin to surface and forgotten tragedies reveal their connection, Billy discovers that every wish requires consent, every miracle leaves a mark, and kindness may be the only force capable of resisting corruption.
But someone has been keeping track of the wishes.
And the final debt has not yet been paid.
Lost Feathers is the first book in The Picis dark fantasy saga-a haunting story of childhood, temptation, sacrifice, and the terrible consequences of getting exactly what you desire.
