Mia was an orphaned child unaware that her parents are alive. She takes care of her ill younger brother and works at a restaurant. Her newly found family drama parts her from Daniel; the only one who ever cared for her when no one did. But another dramatic reunion after 6 years ends up in a marriage, which they both will never regret.
The story takes a turn in Mia's professional career life as a Forensic Psychologist when she comes around a mysterious murderer who killed his whole family and is only left with a 5-year-old daughter. Mia knows it's not as simple as it looks, and she has to dig in more and inquire more closely.
The whirlwind of all these events mixed with romance and psychological thriller is a nice mixed-genre read.
