This is a true story of a young fellow (my son) who got lost in the hills of West Virginia on the coldest day/night of the year in Randolph County. It is written in two parts: Part I is my version of events throughout the day and ending with the successful rescue of my Son, Jim. Part II is young Jim's account of how he got lost and what he went through until he was found later in the evening after a frantic search by his rescuers.
