She later finds a stray cat that had spent the last night in her yard and discovers that its former owners had not wanted it, so she takes it in. At school the next week, Willow meets Lily. She's a good friend, but she was one of Pepper's former owners, the ones that kicked her out. Willow isn't sure what to think. Then, after only a couple of months, when Pepper has started to fit in, crisis strikes and Pepper is found lost on the streets once again.
