Lost and Found is the story of a lost childhood, fractured adolescence and what happens when a young child has no place to call home. This story focuses on an eleven year old child living in post depression and pre WW11 years. She was the youngest child in a large Irish family with six handsome older brothers dealing with a raging alcoholic father. She witnesses her beloved mother's sudden and unexpected death and the subsequent abandonment of her grief stricken and self-serving father. Left alone and terrified she and her sister appeal to a family friend for help and the events that follow create a life of love, change and hope for these young women. So unique as to be unbelievable for some but amazingly true, is told by the youngest child in retrospect when she reaches 80 years of age. It's an amazing story of faith, and compassion shown to two very frightened and fractured little girls.
