Lost & Found: Poems Found All Around

The 77 poems in Lost & Found follow the 50 poems in Transitions (2020), my first volume of poetry. The new poems are "found poems" or "poems found all around," as the subtitle suggests. They are based on letters, emails, books, articles, obits, ads, stray phrases uttered in conversation, etc. Anything is or can be poetry, these poems suggest, if we open our ears and eyes and know our craft. The air all around us. The words we breathe. The books we read. The pop culture in which we're inundated. Why not? They are all grist to the mill of poetry, which grinds away and feeds our souls also.
