Wonderful book.......Wonderful author

Lossie is truly one of the best books I have ever read and I am an avid reader!! The author keeps you turning pages nonstop and nothing in the book is predictable. My eighteen year old daughter also loved the book and included it in her senior anthology this past year. We were also able to meet Nellie Batson in her home in Snead's Ferry and have become great friends with her and her family. Oprah really needs to discover this delightful lady and feature Lossie in her book club. Buy this book and read it once a month. You'll really love the story with all it's twists and turns and feel like you are living in Snead's Ferry next door to Lossie.

While visiting family in Sneads Ferry N.C. I was reading Lossis which I could hardly put down when I had the opportunity to meet the author. She is as delightful as her book. I purchased two more books from her to give as gifts one for my grand-daughter and one for a special friend. She is truly a great author and keeps her readers wanting more and is a wonderful book to give to a young person to read.

You can almost smell the salt in the air and feel the breeze in your hair as you settle into the small fishing village of Sneads Ferry.
