The Rose Is Back

"The Rose is Back!" Lorna was a tennis pro. She, and her friends, do not like the debutante scene, but they are forced to withstand it because of their families. They become secret sleuths. This time, a pastor is accused of distributing pornography. The girls do not buy it. It all seems a bit fishy. They set out to find the truth. Along the way, Lorna finds love in Michael, Houston's new mayor. He is not much on the social scene, though he has to be. They seem to fit perfectly. Will it work out? As I have stated before, The Debutante Series is like a modern Nancy Drew on steroids. Pre-teens to young adults will enjoy this series. Get the teen girl in your life a copy, and introduce her to fun, wholesome reading.

Thoroughly enjoyable

Such an enjoyable book - an easy read with lots of action !!I enjoyed this book very much and enjoyed Lorna in particular ( of the Debutantes series) I would still recommend reading the first in the series 'Heather' as it gives the basis for the mysteries the three of them tackle under the name 'The Rose' A very light, hard to put down novel - romance as well, of course !!
