Raw and moving

This little book was one more account of combat in Vietnam. It was one of the most brutal accounts I've read, and also one of the most moving. Tactics were atavistic, but effective.To give a flavor of the book, here are two lines that are quoted in the book: "There's only one thing worse than being killed in the jungle: being wounded in the jungle."And: "There are things in the jungle that you can eat to stay alive. There are also things in the jungle that can eat you to stay alive."Got the picture? Good book.
