For years he ignored the signs of PTSD. Once he admitted that his soul was wounded, he began a long journey of healing through memory, imagination prayer, and meditation. He has since been able to help others whose souls have been wounded not only by combat, but also by abuse, grief, incarceration, and addiction. In this book, Ed, now Father Ed, shares his own story, the prayer exercises that brought him healing, and the testimonies of many who have shared his journey.
