Cowboy Romance

This is a Cowboy Suspense Romance, and this book is the 5th book in the Heart of Texas series. I have not read the first four books in this series, but I did not feel lost while reading this book. I have to warn people that this book as a lot of hard to read things into like killing, kidnapping, adoption, and cutting babies out of their moms. This book is beautifully written, fast-pace, and a must-read. I have to say that the cover of this book doesn't do anything for the story. I think the cover makes you think it is a cute cowboy romance, but this is a high pace suspense book with a little romance throw in. I LOVED this story and could not put it down. The characters where so developed, and I loved the characters so much. The suspense mystery parts of this book was so very good. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Marlee Carter's twin was murdered and her baby taken....it sets her on a course to try and keep that from happening to other families. Cooper Owens has done his military service and has set down his roots in his hometown of Clearwater, TX. Everyone knows you need a hand with anything, Cooper is always willing to pitch in. Lately though, he's been feeling a little lonely. Could that be because the men he calls brothers are falling in love and starting families. Marlee hits Clearwater on a tip that a kidnapped infant maybe going to a local family. When it doesn't pan out more questions arise. Who sent her to this area and why? Can her informants be trusted? Who is Cooper Owen's and why the heck can't she get him out of her mind? Will they find the bad guys and bring them to their knees? Can love overcome all obstacles and truly heal all wounds? Guess you'll have to read it to find out.....
