William A. Kofoed was born in Logan Utah. He now lives in Magna Utah. He was a member of Mormon Youth Chorus and the Jay Welch Chorale. He is a published photographer. He started writing poetry in high school and he has been published in Poetry Quarterly, Utah Life and The Route 7 Review. The poem 'Teach to Write' used in the Spring 2018, issue of Poetry Quarterly, The poem 'Skydriving' used in the May/June 2018 issue of Utah Life Magazine The poem 'Holding you" used in issue #6 of Dual Coast Magazine The poem 'Perfection' won 3rd place in the Louisiana State Poetry Society Award and is in Encore 2018
