Fun beginner's guide

This book offers a photo of each type of tree and a drawing of its leaf, pointing out its characteristics, and a few sentences about the tree. Kids can place a sticker on the page after they've found the leaf. Some pages have ideas for projects and crafts for the leaves you find. The book explains how to record your finings and also explains a little about leaves in general. There's also a handy I.D. chart with a photo of each of the 20 leaves covered in the book that you can take along with you on your expedition. Colorful, some cartoony pictures, a very friendly field guide!
