I have no specific reason why I began writing short stories at the age of seventy-five, only a suspicion. Seventy-five years is a very long time and one accumulates countless experiences, many of which lay dormant in ones mind until one day the people in those experiences begin to come together and you have no idea what to do with them. They are just memories but there is a story in each and every one of them, even though it takes years to realize it. So...instead of just letting them sit in my old brain, I began putting them together and the result is the collection of short stories in this book. I have no idea if they are interesting or not. All I know is they could not stay in my mind any longer. Thank you for taking the time to read them.
