Look Out, Magoo

Magoo, an ex Navy pilot and now a farmer, inherits Podunk Air Field from a deceased friend, who once flew drugs from Mexico. In the book, Harley "Magoo" Hamilton, the drug lord tries to get them back, but his assassin ends up flying away with the drugs. The drug lord blames Magoo, and decides he must die. Each assassin he sends to kill Magoo fails, as the drug lord becomes the laughingstock of the other drug lords. In the meantime, Magoo stumbles along trying to woo a girl whose ex-husband needs help in escaping the wrath of a bad police chief. Problems, problems.
