Julie MacAdam is a Yoga teacher, clinical and community herbalist, somatic practitioner, and writer. Her work is trauma-informed, respectful of both the conscious and unconscious, and a dynamic interplay between embodiment, the arts, feeling, and expressing. She teaches at the University of Vermont and her writing has been featured most notably in Yoga Journal & LA Yoga.

Her interest for Yoga peaked at the start of college which led her to receive training at Kripalu; the beginning of a dedicated life of learning & teaching. Julie has studied at Yasodhara Ashram, Vermont Center of Integrative Herbalism, Tamalpa, and Somatic Experiencing International.

She offers classes, workshops, private lessons and consultations in the unceded Abenaki territory of Vermont where she lives.
