"The long arm of the law's gonna snatch you and make you pay.I'm that long arm of the law."

This episode finds our hero in Fort Worth,Texas, for a couple of weeks of well earned rest and relaxation. Somehow it comes as no surprise that things get hot soon after he arrives.This is an excellent ,fast-action Old West saga in every sense of the word. A real page turner ,filled with interesting characters and shoot-outs. The author of this episode really has the talents to construct a good tale and let's hope he gets to write more of them. He has a great ability of coming up with real good expressions and descriptions.Here's an example; "Longarm glanced up at the cabin's heavy front facade and watched as flying chunks of splintered timber and dusty ricochets worked to obscure the posse's view.Within minutes,the stagnant air at the bottom of the canyon reeked with the acrid smell of spent black powder.Dense clouds of drifting gunsmoke hovered overhead.For about ten minutes,the inside of Wild Horse Canyon got quieter than a deaf-mute's shadow. To really round things we are treated to Longarm's lawmen friends Luke Short,Bat Masterson and Wyatt Earp enjoying a friendly card game.
