Outstanding History for Kids

When my children were little, they often played LET'S PRETEND in the backyard. I would overhear one of the tikes exclaim, "Let's play 'Back Then!'" The idea of "Back Then" was any time before they were born, I suppose. Berenstain's book opened their eyes to the wide variety of civilizations that have preceded our own, and they began to appreciate - even in their little minds -all that happened "back then." This little book is a wonderfully fun child-size overview of history. It's our family's favorite history book for kids. I highly recommend it!
