The pack finally has a lead on the location of the kidnapped she-wolves. On their way to rescue them, John, the son of the hunter, helps the shifters with intel of the trap set for them. During the rescue of part of the she-wolves, injuries occur and a new location for the rest of the kidnapped females.

Once a new plan is set, the pack continues their journey to rescue the rest of the she-wolves and take down those responsible. Battles occur: battles of wills and battles of power.

The medic in him won't allow another to treat his mate while the wolf in him howls for revenge. Will the two opposing battles within him tear him apart? Will his loyalty to his new mate conflict with his loyalty to the pack? Above all, will his mate and her children accept his wolf?
