Jessie Starbuck and Ki are off to Carson City to wind down one of her many businesses. They have to stop over in the small town of Wygone;and things turn nasty all ways around. They meet up with some weird characters,the threat of a gunslinger coming to town,and all but too many shots being taken at them.Then the killings add to the mess they find themselves in. Horses even become a problem as Jessie gets hosed buying and selling her horses over and over. The story moves along fairly well,there are some good fights along the way;with Ki making good use of his "shurikens";but end the end this is mainly a mystery story that happens to take place in The Old West.
