Rosenberg was not a very big town situated on the bank of river Thames. However it was on the state highway and so had a good prospectus for business and trading. Moreover as river steam flowed through out the year there was good scope for agriculture on bank lands. Columbia city, the capital of the kingdom was hardly ten miles away from there so it was a good opportunity for the people to have daily contact of the town for business. Hence the joining road was all the while much crowded.
