'Feeling Strange' is part of the 'Lola' books - a light hearted series of rhyming pictures books for children.

This 'Lola' book follows our little learner, Lola the dog, on a journey exploring her feelings and emotions, and how these feelings can also make her body feel.

The book is aimed at creating open dialogue with the reader. Creating a safe place and normalising the notion, that it is 'okay not to feel okay'. Lola learns that all emotions are welcome, and that all of our bodies speak to each of us in different ways.

After following Lola's journey in this story, at the end of the book, readers are encouraged to engage with some fun interactive activities. Each activity aims to aid mindfulness, calm, dialogue, and thought into how the reader may also feel, or have felt, taking a look back upon how Lola felt in the story.
