Logan County Justice (The Morgans)

Captain Thomas Hunt Morgan, upon his return from Afghanistan, resumes his job as the Deputy Sheriff of Logan County, Kentucky. But things are not right in Logan County and Judge Leandro, matriarch of the Morgan and Leandro family, orders him to fix the problems. For the past year he and his cousins, Virgil and Ancil, have been actively seeking and eliminating those who represent a danger to the county and the people they serve.Their problems are compounded when a bank robbery occurs and both Morgan and Judge Leandro suspect that their relatives, Hiram Morgan and his daughter Helen, are involved. Morgan knows that Hiram, a former CIA assassin, is the most dangerous man he and his cousins have ever faced. Hiram, his uncle and mentor, had assumed responsibility for training them to fight after Morgan's father was killed. In addition, Ruth Ann Humphries has gotten involved with the Las Vegas mafia while testing a new gaming algorithm. The Judge knows the family must be protected, so along with Helen Morgan she creates a daring plan that involves the New York Mafia, the CIA, and the New York Police. Don Scarlatti, his mother, and son control the mafia in New York. Their crime fingers extend from New York through Chicago into Las Vegas. Judge Leandro and Helen Morgan's plan calls for nothing less than taking over the operation of the Scarlatti family. With Helen Morgan leading them, Morgan, Virgil, Ancil, and Hiram set off for New York to attempt to do just that. Morgan knows that if the plan succeeds New York will never be the same. But Morgan also knows he, his cousins, and his uncle will need all their fighting skills. The key to Judge Leandro's plan is Helen Morgan, and she proves just as ruthless as the Morgans and just as devious as the Leandros.
