One question ...

Years ago I obtained the original edition of this book, and also have a rare audio testimonial recorded before the Full Gospel Business Men's Association around the time of its original release. I found his testimony to be inspirational and entertaining, as I grew up around the outlaw biker culture myself. My only question is this: If it's true that DePriest has killed people, then why isn't he in prison? I'm not wishing this on him, as he seems to be a man of God - but his apparent confession in this book does beg the question. And, if the murder part is fabricated, then how much of the rest of the testimony might also be embellished? I'm not trying to tear down a man of God, but this question has nagged me for years.

Ron Depriest spoke at my church last weekend. He is an amazing person. My mom bought his book and I read it in a day. I found myself on the school bus crying while I was reading. Its just so.. awesome. This book really shows that no matter how bad of a person you are - like Ron, who killed people, who did drugs, beat people up, etc. - God can still use you and He still loves you. I reccommend this book to anyone who is seeking Jesus right now.
