Escapism At Its Best!

Lockerboy IS an adventurous journey. It took me back to my high school days when I wished I had such an escape. But that is just what this book provides, a rich and thrilling portal to another world - one where anything is possible. With his rich narratives and fantastic use of vocabulary, Strodder weaves his story expertly, just daring us NOT to join in!

Lockerboy review

Though targeted for a tween audience, as an adult I found the book a fun, fast read to escape reality for awhile. The subject matter and characters are very unique and interesting. The author has a real gift for putting the reader right in the setting and getting you to identify and care about the characters. I think this book would be hugely fun done in film since he makes one visualize the scenes so clearly in the book. I'm sending it to my two teen nieces who love to read. I am confident they will enjoy it as much as I did. Also, it is a very positive approach to some very challenging situations we can all relate to on some level. And what a twist for and ending as well. I will look forward to more of this author's books.

Wonderful story

I thoroughly enjoyed the book from beginning to end. Wonderful light reading that keeps you anxious to turn the page to see what happens next. Enjoy it!!!

Broad-based appeal

I love this story! I didn't have to put myself back to my teenage years to appreciate it. It is enjoyable from any perspective.
