Stories longer than I expected

I love Anna Dewdney's writing style and my children love Llama Llama as a character they are familiar with. However, I have been disappointed to not read the catchy rhyming style of the original Dewdney books in the "As seen on Netflix" books. However, I bought this book with the thought that 5-minute stories would be easy readers for my 6 year old to feel confident practicing her reading abilities. They are not easy readers for a beginner after all. But happily, I find the stories to still be engaging and enjoyable and I find a lot of opportunities in the stories to teach my children valuable concepts about interpersonal skills, friendships, and emotions. Plus, I always love multiple stories at a low, one-book price point. I am quite glad I purchased this book.
