health is the degree to which a person is still able to deal with their physical, emotional, mental, and social environments. This is just one of many possible definitions. Particularly, what constitutes "good" health can vary greatly. After a snowstorm, heavy shoveling can cause a heart attack in a very fragile person who stays "well" in their normal environment; or a person who lives at sea level may move to the mountains, where the atmosphere contains less oxygen, and suffer from anemia and shortness of breath until their red blood cell count adjusts to the altitude.
This is NOT Dr Livingood's book. Horrible off topic crazy mess- badly needs edited

I don't think the people reviewing this book actually read it. This book is really jacked up. You're reading along about heart, lung and circulation in the human body when the topic suddenly changes to 2-3 pages of elephant tusks/ ivory, then changes back to the circulatory system of humans. I don't know if the publisher screwed up and put parts of another book in by mistake or not. Then you read some more and suddenly the earth atmosphere, gases and biology related to the earths formation and minerals is suddenly inserted. There's no connection at all, it's part of another book or someone's writing assignment not at all related to the topic for this book, and that drags on for 64 pages! I'm really mad about this. Pay an editor for gods sake! It changes topics again and starts covering sickle cell anemia. More than 3/4 of this book is completely off topic mistakes. This book isn't the book written by Dr Livingood.
