This book is the first part of Liz's story that begins when she, at 14 years-
old, had just started 9th grade at her new high school, Cape Cod Tech.
After not feeling well for a while, she is eventually diagnosed with Type 1
diabetes. From that point on she needs to learn all she can about diabetes
and what she must do to take care of herself.
This is a true story of her struggles through her teenage years into
adulthood dealing with a lite-threatening condition. It is also a story of
her love and gratitude for the many people, especially her amazing family,
who made her able to live as fulfilling a life as possible. However, she still
needs a miracle to have a second chance at living a happy, healthy and
disease free life. Will she ever get that chance?
