Based on the war that fought for the possession of my mind; I have created this fictional short story about a character named Humphrey. It is a brief synopsis about being sexually abused within the institution of the church and the process of coming out of what held my mind captive through guilt and shame. Furthermore, it is about opening up about the abuse in a safe environment while in hospital and developing healthy relationships that avoided the alternative lifestyle.
