Convicting and encouraging

Dr. Gipp's book made me think twice about all the little complaints I have that I should just keep quiet about and take to God! His mercy and grace is what is needed to get us through... not the sympathy of friends and family. I have known Dr. Gipp for 10 years and never even knew his problems with pain were what they are! What an inspiration to me.

An excellent book on living with constant pain.

I have known Dr.Gipp for several years and have heard him preach many times. I never knew about his broken neck. This is a very encouraging.

A book of encouragment and exhortation, which makes one thin

"Living with Pain" game me a new perspective on my own daily walk with the Lord. When Dr. Gipp spoke at my church early in 1997, I had no idea of the magnitude of his physical challenges, and hearing of them has encouraged me to be stronger and more dedicated in my own life. It is difficult to claim that God's grace is insufficient to overcome a few aching joints, when He is so obviously able to give grace for much worse pain. This book is a must-read for anyone who is suffering from serious, chronic pain, and who desires a closer walk with Jesus Christ.
