Living with Grandpa is a story of a young girl who is sent to live with her grandfather who she has never met after the death of her parents who have been killed by a hit and run driver.

The police are hot on the trail of Mal Gates who is a well known architect who takes on a job to build a hotel and casino in Miami but finds things don't run as smoothly as he would like.

Especially when he discovers that the man he is working for is a drug lord and gangster who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Writing has always been great passion of mine and something that has always been part of my life since I was eight years of age. It took me a long time to have the confidence to put my work out there because I never really thought I was good enough to compete with other writers who I considered more intellectual. I love to write about places where I grew up in the Northeast of England and people who I have been inspired by like Tom Hadaway and Catherine Cookson.
