I have read many "self-help" type books in this area, but I was pleased to find a book by an author who is actually SINGLE herself! It makes the read much more genuine and authentic! Thanks, Jane!
Excellent read with practical application

I read this book in one night. Excellent read. The core issues in this book are trust, acceptance of circumstances, and contentment. Married or single, these issues are a profound part of each individual's life. The jewel in this book is the author's constant efforts to point the reader to the only source of trust, acceptance, and contentment. While her focus is on the unmarried, any Christian will be challenged to draw close to the Lord, and subsequently, a deepening relationship with Christ will surface.

This is a great, creative, truthful read! Engaged me from the first paragraph. As others commented, whether single or married, the author encourages and challenges the reader. Her sense of humor is contagious. Her candidness is refreshing. Highly recommended.
A Satisfying Read

Jane Wilder's "Living Single" reads like a personal journal, as the author uses real life stories, well studied Scripture, and learned insights to help readers navigate the ever-broadening experience of singleness. Throughout the book, Wilder plumbs the depths of Scripture like a detective searching for clues to solve the mystery of contented single living. She candidly shares her own struggles, and what real life and real faith have taught her. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to every single person. It reminded me, I'm not seeking God's heart for a life partner, but for a thoroughly satisfying life found only in Christ, whether I'm married or not. Such an encouraging read

This book is not only good for the single woman but it is also great for married women as well. As a woman married to a man with a very hectic and inconsistent work schedule, I am often faced with the struggle of loneliness. This book covers this topic along with many others with honesty, hope, encouragement, humor and best of all biblical direction. It has helped remind me to trust God and seek his purposes first. An excellent read I recommend to all.
