JB Evans is one of twelve children, the son of a Gulf Coast shrimper. He was raised in a small town next to the railroad tracks in Texas. He is a former marine, the father of a daughter and a son, and a grandfather to four beautiful and wonderful children. JB was a salesman for forty-one years before retiring. He moved off-grid on land adjacent to the Big Thicket National Preserve. After four years, he decided to write short stories. His living off-grid and observations inspired and influenced his words. He pulls you into his stories as if you're a spectator, and you live the experiences with him.
