Living in the Spirit: A Lifestyle for everyone

God is spirit and he created man in his image and likeness, therefore causing the man to
have the nature of his spirit, which was corrupted in the beginning. Man lived in a body (the Flesh)
which enabled him to reign on earth, he also has a soul which is the center of emotions and his
will. The devil tries to see that man's emotion and will are of the flesh which does not please God
but the life of the spirit pleases God. And it is what man feeds himself on that would affect each of
his decisions and actions.
The spirit and the flesh wage war daily for one to master the other. God sent his son Jesus
Christ to die for man and to redeem him from his sinful state, restoring him to God and the rightful
state man was in the beginning before his fall. Man's spirit is now recreated and lives by the spirit
of God, not of the flesh. One who has not identified with God will find it difficult to align with
God, his will, and His purpose for mankind because he still lives under the influence of the devil
who has control over one who has not accepted God's son into their life.
The life of the spirit is the life of God, the life God desires for everyone, it produces his
righteousness which he revealed through his son, man lives in God's presence and involves God in
all he does, God saves man from impending danger or any danger that may arise because one is
walking with him. God knows all things and sees all things even before they happen, we can enter
that realm wherever we find ourselves because we are living in the same nature of God.
There is a greater height man can attain in God and continue in it when one lives in the
spirit fulfilling the desire of the spirit, not the flesh, the flesh destroys a man and allows him to face
God's wrath; there is a state God wants us to live by which produces a greater result in our life that
even the devil cannot enter into or operate, we now become authority ourselves recognizing the
authority of God and his delegation to his children. The devil is fighting tirelessly to see we do not
enter that realm of God so we can't produce results that make God glad and we can't have control
over him.
The life of the spirit makes us stronger and more powerful, it draws us closer to God and
helps us to know things that the enemy is planning or God's intention for mankind. Sin is the
greatest factor for a man not to live in this nature and that is why the devil wants to make sure the
desires of the flesh rule the spirit; when one desires the things of the spirit, the life of the flesh dies.
There is a realm you can walk into, a height you can journey through on earth, possibilities you
can produce which a mere man can't when you live in the spirit. God has given us these
possibilities because he has made it possible for us to walk into that realm.
It is for a man to desire to please God all his life and allow God's will to prevail over one's
life, not his will because the will of man has the wrong motive and God searches for the motive
and intent of a man's heart.
