This collection examines what it means to bring those voices into research, policy making and service delivery--not only highlighting successes but also grappling with the ethical, practical and emotional complexities involved.

Drawing on diverse contributions from academics, practitioners and individuals with first-hand experience, it offers real-world examples and thoughtful strategies for ensuring lived experience is used meaningfully and responsibly across the criminal justice landscape.
