In these hazy days, a book with clarity

If you’re a follower of Jesus in the US, this book should be required reading.

Superb.

A potent message for all people of faith from 20th century Christian martyrs and survivors of Marxist totalitarianism - beware those who would enforce their earthly model of heaven upon the rest of us. Mr Dreher's work is earnest, insightful, poignant. Based on excellent research with eye-witnesses of the hidden horrors of totalitarianism and how Westerners are so easily hoodwinked by our cushioned lifestyles, Big Tech and McMedia. I read the Benedict Option and loved it - this is a superb sequel. Very grateful to Mr Dreher for his courage to commit this to the public record and his generosity in providing all the resources to follow up. A must read if you want to know how to read between the lines of liquid modernity and its impact on Christians. It's vital for us to understand these experiences and voices of truth from the recent past.
