We all dream of a heavenly life, but end with an unsatisfied life. Since we can't find a solution to this puzzle, we finally settle with some wins as consolation prizes .Yes, we all start our life with enthusiasm but in the middle, we suffer as though we are having burning coals on our hands. Since we don't know the origin of the fire, we couldn't extinguish the fire. Instead, we start to throw that burning coals at one another resulting in the present calamity.
Buddha asked us to avoid wishing for things and said that would relieve us from miseries. Since man is not designed that way, he couldn't avoid wishing for something new. Hence, we couldn't follow his advice in total and suffer. This book suggests that just a simple change of perception of life would do that miracle and would lead us to a happy life.
