These little birds are notably one of the cutest birds on Kangaroo Island. Curious and brave, however loosing habitat due to development. He explores different habitats and asks other wildlife how they stay safe in their environment and camouflage.

The wise Pygmy Possum asks the question, if Scarlet Robin really needs to camouflage, maybe his red breast is for something else. He finds out during his journey.

The story is set on Kangaroo Island near Cape Willoughby on the southeast part of the island. The adventures of Little Scarlet Robin continue over several short stories. The watercolours are drawn and painted from the authors imagination and photos from long walks around the island.
