The renewal of publication serves as a living memorial to the late Ralph and Margot Treitel, Columbia, Maryland poets who founded the original run of the publication. Little Patuxent Review strives to promote the tradition of written and visual arts by creating a spirited magazine that reflects and draws upon the creativity and diversity within Howard County, the region, and the nation.
