"Little Laysia" is a collection of forty-two poems, dating as far back as 2009, of the inner most thoughts and feelings of a growing hopeless romantic teenaged girl in the midst of personal storms and chaos. Malaysia discusses heart breaks, internal and external dramas, rough life-changing events, good times, catfishing (before the term existed) and even the contemplation of suicide. At the end of it all, this is a representation of overcoming such obstacles, which truly were stepping stones; a testament and celebration of courage, faith, and strength through the storm. Everything happens for a reason, and she's eternally grateful to all seeming misfortunes and pure creativity that allowed for the birth of this work. Thank you, all.
